maffer, it's amazing how much that looks like Northern Minnesota, where I'm from,
particularly the Boundary Waters wilderness area. I guess that's why we had
so many Finns migrate here in the 19th century - looks just like home!

Don't know if this is my best or technically great, but it's my favorite:

That may well be! Because that slope picture reminds me of Vuokatti slopes in the northern Finland where my parents have their home. The places share the looks definitely.

@leikey1982: True, finnish winter perhaps won't beat norwegian one with icy fjords and stuff, but may as well be beautiful at least in the lapland! But come visit the next summer.

Landscapes aren't my best of subjects even though I shoot lots of them. This is one of my favorites from this year. A reflection of a camp along the shore of Lake Luzerne in the Adirondacks, NY.

Here is a landscape that I had the privilage to photograph a couple months ago. Should be familular to many people but seldom seed on forums. Mt. Rushmore.
