A new environment (western Washington) certainly changes many subjects and conditions . Dim light makes these little guys difficult to track but photographs can reveal just what is flitting around the canopy . The third photo is a golden crowned kinglet that weighs about five grams and does not sit still . Correction ISO was 3200 !

Small birds tend not to sit still very long. Very good captures with natural colors. The shooting environment can make you work to get the shots you want. You did well getting these shots.

This was an enjoyable outing but better images would have been more useful to us all .

These are some very nice captures, and I would certainly be happy to end up with these. These varieties of birds don't often give you an open shot, but to me that is what makes them challenging and fun to photograph.
