I was on assignment with a shooting partner in New Orleans this autumn. We had some free time and this, um, character on his bicycle, noticed that we were taking photos. On the pretense of being a fellow photographer, he approached us and unleashed complicated conspiracy theories about Obama. My partner couldn't resist taking the bait, but i faded back and shot off a series of this man getting more and more intense.
FInally i had to put away the camera and intervene--I was concerned about the safety of my partner, as she is in her 60s.
