A few more Butterflies from the Nature Preserve · **4 Likes**

Took a short visit to the nature preserve to see what was there. Captured a few shots of more butterflies including an unexpected Monarch. Did some extreme crops on some small ones.

I especially like the green butterfly on the blue stalk of flowers.

Thank you very much. I've been getting good results from this camera and lens in good light.

Thank you, Angky. I thought that yellow/green butterfly came out very well. I've reverted to using the K-5IIs on bright sunny days and getting good results.

Outstanding series of butterfly photos Mike. I am impressed with your camera/lens combo, not to mention your very steady handling of them. The shots are all very sharp with nice colors and contrast.

Thanks so much, Todd. For a good while, I wasn't using this combo, after purchasing a KP. Seems like this combo works very well for this type of shots.

Thanks for your comments and encouragement. With the seasons changing, the photography subjects will change also.
