A marvelous black & white image Matt! The snow is silky smooth with those beautiful flowing shadows in contrast with the vertical aspen trunks.

Thanks! It was irresistible when I was skiing by and had to stop and get some images.

This shot is almost mesmerizing. The complex patterns created by the trees, their shadows and the contours of the snow are marvelous, almost more than you can take. It's good that you recognized this while skiing and captured it in images. Well done.

Thanks! Yeah the little undulations of terrain here combined with the angle of the sun were perfect. Lucky me!

Intriguing puzzle about shadows, nicely captured, correctly framed between two trees. I love monochrome for reasons that are masterfully depicted here.
