Visit to the Boyce Thompson Arboretum
Lens: Pentax D-FA 100mm Macro Camera: K-3 III Photo Location: Boyce Thompson Arboretum, AZ

My nephew and I visited the arboretum last week. Haven't had a chance to post them yet. It was raining when we first got there and overcast most of the time. I used a ring light on the flowers and I only carried my 60-250 with me so that was used for the hummingbird. I didn't want the weight of the 150-450 and thought I would use it with the weather. Would have really been good for the hummingbird.

Nice flower captures enhanced by the beaded water. Nice hummingbird shot also. Looked like an enjoyable outing.

Excellent series of florals and also a terrific hummingbird shot. That rose with the water droplets is a real beauty.

Love that top rose shot!
And then came the perched hummingbird in the greenery!
I don't think you missed anything on that hummingbird with the lens you used.
Great shots!
Angky.
