This was my planned destination for the morning. To kayak through the canyons and try to get some shots. Well, I kayaked. Not a lot of shots as the water was really too rough for me. I made it a little over a mile down one of the canyons and turned back. I was trying to find some big horn sheep that are in the area, but I don't think I went back far enough and getting any shots would have been a challenge anyway. Planning on a spring trip there with a regular boat.

Well you did get some nice shots of the scenery. That water does look choppy. Better luck next time.

Thank you. Thinking about taking the trailer up there for a few days sometime. See if I can get out there with calmer water.

Very nice shots David. The scenery there is beautiful with the rust-colored canyon walls and green desert vegetation.
