A panorama of 5 or 6 photos stitched together in Adobe Lightroom. The .dng file is 295Mb! A great display of the K-1's amazing dynamic range and color rendering.

Would love to see this as a huge print - very dramatic.

I also would love to see this one as a large print. Great work in putting the panorama together.

Thanks! Yes, my goal has always been to make it a large print. Something along the lines of 5'x1'. "Someday..."
Thanks for the comment.

Thanks, I have Lightroom to thank for the stitching. It went better than I expected. I left some overlap between photos. Now I wish I would have turned the camera 90 degrees/portrait and shot more photos. Oh well, at nearly 300Mb, the little MacBook Pro I used at the time took long enough to render! Lol!!
My goal has always been to make it a large print. I think it's easy enough to find someone who will print, say, 5'x1' (or whatever it scales out to) but "how" to frame and mount such a large print...needs more investigation.
Thanks for the comment!

Thanks! Yes, the sunset itself isn't all that great BUT the clouds!! I was very happy that the clouds rendered so well! THAT, I think, is where the K-1 really shines - capturing those subtle shades and colors. It didn't take much work in Lightroom to get what you see. I probably spent the most time getting the grass to look somewhat realistic. Maybe I'll re-do it and make the grass darker - that might put more emphasis on the sky.
Thanks for the comment! I hope to make it a big print "someday".

Nice image. Nominated.
I'd like it even more if there was "a little less pano": I'd crop the trees at the left and right edges.
