Thank you. I also enjoy nature and photographing nature scenes, sometimes a little too much.

Thank you, Julie. Maybe not too much posted, but many more were taken.
Mike.

Oh, I quite understand. Same thing here when we go to the botanical garden or Everglades National Park...lots and lots of images, only a handful I think are worthy to share.

Another terrific series Mike. I am glad to see that there is still water there. We are practically bone dry everywhere around here. That plant with the tiny magenta berries is very interesting.

Hm, I think it's a Buddleia, "butterfly bush", very handsome shrubs

Glad to help, when I can! Too bad about your drought, we had enough rain from Nicole to float a boat, and we weren't even in the heavy-rain part of the storm! Wish we could send you some!

Thank you, Todd. I didn't expect much at the nature preserve but did find some things to photograph. We have had a little rain here. Not enough to put water in the Mississippi River, but some. According to my "Seek" phone app, that plant is the American Beautyberry (Callicarpa americana). It grows wild in the woods here.

Hi Julie. The "Seek" phone app identifies it as American Beautyberry (Callicarpa americana). It's native in southern states and grows wild in wooded areas around here. I've had butterfly bushes (they died), and it is not that. Thanks for commenting.
