McGee Creek is hidden from the desert in a gorge. It only reveals itself by the sound of the falls, if you're close enough. It's located on the edge of the Tungsten Hills in the Buttermilk Country, just outside of Bishop, CA. Kodak Ektachrome transparency film.

Quite interesting to see that Ektachrome look again.
You pulled off the lighting just right!

Thank you for the compliment!
Of course transparency film can't compare to digital for dynamic range, so I spot metered multiple points in the composition. Then I had to decide what to keep and what could be sacrificed. The scanner, a Polaroid 120, while excellent, can only get so much from the film. No HDR here!

Shooting for realistic but saturated. That's why I have never shot Velvia. Tried Kodak E100VS (very saturated) but it was too much and I found myself desaturating the files. Stayed with E100S.
