Sandhill Cranes in the water
Lens: Pentax DA 55-300mm PLM Camera: Pentax K 3 Photo Location: Sanford Florida ISO: 1250 Shutter Speed: 1/350s Aperture: F5.6

The Cranes were in the water overflow area that was filling up with water as a Hurricane was approaching my area.

Nice series of shots. You got some good poses from the big birds. Good details and colors in all images. I really like the feather layers and details.

There were bands of rain all day even when I took the pictures and their feathers were soaked.

The "rhythm" of the first two shots does the birds' images really well.
