Sunset at the Po Delta in the Sacca of Scardovari

Interesting exposure choice, underexposing the foreground certainly emphasises the sunset colors. As a photographic practice I'm a big fan of thinking about what specifically draws my eye to a subject or a scene and then focusing on how I can make that into the centerpoint of the entire image. I think this illustrates that.

It looks like this image was taken right at the edge of darkness. Beautiful colors in the lit areas being engulfed in darkness. The shadowed boats and docks add detail and interest to the scene.

Outstanding mixture of lighting and darkness with a very strong horizon line. It is a very nice image.
