That's a lot of fine detail, very smart exposure choices to get it all to pop like this. The backlighting isolates all the tree trunks very nicely.

Are you sure you are not back in Sacramento area foothills?
I like the sun backlighting the seed heads on the grasses.

Thanks Angky! Part of the reason that we moved to Texas Hill Country is that it has a lot of similarities to the Sierra foothills. The only thing missing is the view of the snow-covered peaks of the Sierras.
