White Bleeding Hearts flowers??

Some flowers from a spring hike in Cataloochee. Are these Bleeding Hearts?

Maybe, but more likely is "turkey corn", Dicentra canadensis
Very pretty, either way

welcome...glad to help if I can. It's also sometimes called "squirrel corn", related to Dutchman's Breeches (a different species of Dicentra).

Yes! You are correct! This is most definitely “squirrel corn”. I looked it up and it is a dead ringer! Now I will know the next time I see it!

Anybody reading on this forum will learn something, most days. The only thing that I knew for certain when I viewed it was, that it wasn't bleeding hearts. Now I know what it is. Note to self "Remember". Nice shots and thanks for posting.
