The root of the problem.

Nice image with very interesting textures and details. This tree certainly has a problem.

Trees often uproot here when we have saturated soil and high winds. This tree may not have had deep enough roots due to rocky ground. Nice capture of the scene with good natural colors and very nice details. That's not a small tree. I hate to see it go.

It does indeed... many of its neighbours were in a similar situation.
