Nature Robinson Preserve, Florida

I'm here in Florida for my annual visit and I always get to Robinson Preserve for a couple of walks. It never disappoints.

The white pelicans are migratory. Many of them spend winter on the gulf coast of Florida. The cormorant is, I think, a double-crested cormorant. Really vivid coloring. Ospreys are everywhere and I saw a lot of fish getting devoured. I think the snake is probably a rat snake. It was unusually cooperative. The little blue heron had a nice, quiet spot to himself.

This is really a great series of wild life images. They are all so good it's hard to pick a favorite. Thank for sharing these photos. It looks like a great site to visit.
