A Ruby Crowned Kinglet
Lens: HD DA 55-300mm PLM Camera: K-3II Photo Location: Backyard ISO: 3200 Shutter Speed: 1/1500s Aperture: F6.3

ready for liftoff. No crop with this shot. The bird flew into the shrub about four feet from me, but I could only get a couple of shots off before it was gone.

Thanks pichaser! They are pretty difficult to track and get into the open enough for a shot.

Great shot! Almost looks like a band on its right leg so this one may have been netted before.
