Just some "outstanding" bird images from last August. Beautiful captures of the big birds. I love those iridescent colors on the White faced Ibis. Nice work.

A terrific series of well executed images Heinrich. The ibis has some striking feather colors.

Terrific shots, Heinrich, as always. I've photographed a lot of ibises, but I've never seen a white-faced one around. I didn't know such a creature exists!

Hi Jer and thank you, this is a juvenile, face isn't white yet. They stop here for a week or so on their way south from their northern beeding grounds.

Wonderful photographs. Always so sharp. You do nail the eye exceptionally well,

Glad to see you back Heinrich. Missed your work. You do get a lot of great pix out of that nearby marsh.

Hi Les and thank you. The Creek was good to me the last 3 years, but we moved away from it. Elly had to go into dementia care, and I moved into an apartment building next to her building. It's in another part of town away from the creek and since I don't drive anymore that's it for the creek but I'll find something else to chase.
