A few shots as the sun was coming up over, and through, the colored leaves on a frosty cold morning.
I found myself very much wishing I had carried my K1 (bigger sensor).
When I was young, it was always a Pentax, for sure! (And the MX and the Super Program were pretty light cameras for the day.)
But now when an old guy wakes up, he does what his wife and his back tells him to do! (And the K1 is a heavy beast of a camera!)
My back spoke very loudly this morning, so I took the little Sony RX100--lightest camera.
My wife was only concerned about me not slipping down the icy steps (which I promptly did!).
Question: Do beautiful icy morning sunrises have an obligatory relationship with stiff backs?
Anyway, hope the images bring a tiny ray of morning sunshine to you.
And critiques and comments are very welcome.
(As is also some humor!)
#1. A wild grape vine draped over a frosty bush (privet?). Subtle lighting from high thin clouds over the not-yet-risen sun.
#2. Wild grapes on briars and other weeds--sun still just barely below horizon but bright sky's light glancing across the tops.
#3. Sun just clearing distant hills and shining through mist and a partially barren oak.
#4. Front lighted oak getting hit with direct horizontal sun rays.
