Originally posted by tungal It was summer afternoon near Girevi village in Tusheti - one of the most remote and highest regions in Georgia (country, not state). The landscape itself was variable but then sun and clouds started their shadow play on the valley slopes - that was one of the most beautiful landscapes I've photographed.
These valleys are unreachable in winter - snow buries everything - and in September or October people with their stock leave mountains and go to lower area villages in south.
Wonderful. Warm colours in dramatic scene.
