Trip to Algonquin - Animals...
Lens: DA 55-300 PLM Camera: K-3 Photo Location: Algonquin Park, Cameron Road ISO: 100

From the day before... an iPhone image

A proof of sighting shot, an Otter in Costello Creek, they've been there for a few days. There's an old Beaver dam they can live in and an abundance of catfish. They'll stay until they've fished it out. Last time they were there was 4 years ago.

It reads 135 equivalent, an iPhone can handle that.

Nice wildlife shots. You do have a good variety of animals. If I had seen the moose and all I had was a phone, I'd definitely use the phone. The iPhone actually produced a nice image.

I could have used the K-3 but, we were already late getting home. 24-MP K-3 definitely beats a 12 MP phone.

More terrific shots Norm. It is astounding how much wildlife you see out there on a day trip. What a great place to visit.

And I didn't even mention the Red Fox I saw at the East Gate, that disappeared before I could get my camera out. But honestly, not every day is like this. This was over the top even for Algonquin.

Very nice series Norm, love that Moose. Every time I look at your images, I miss the shield country.
