I was on my porch trying to photograph birds in my backyard when I heard a plane coming towards me from the front of the house. Because I live on top of a ridge, I sometimes see planes pretty low, and this one was exceptionally low. These images are what I got as it flew past and then made a hard banked turn to the right and exited back in the opposite direction. Luckily, I was able to quickly switch to my Action pre-set which worked very well in acquiring and holding the plane in focus, although I lost it in the trees for part of the turn. These shots are all cropped from 6000 pixels wide to around 3000. I think the person in the front seat may not have been doing too well from the look of the last photo.
