Yes, it does usually happen in northern Cal--for about a month. Then come the hot dry months!
Thanks for your comment of appreciation!

Well, I guess you didn't cross your fingers soon enough!
That was just about the last shot I got out of that lens.
Tried to use it today, and something won't work -- won't zoom and focus.
But maybe that's all to the better, because I really relied on that lens when I should have been using a better one for some of my shots.
Thanks for your note on the image.

Glad you mentioned the contrast between fore and back.
That is one of the things that first caught my attention to even stop and compose the shot (along with the two trees).
So I'm glad it worked out.
Thanks for your note.

Originally posted by MikeNArk Beautiful shot, Angky. The rainfall has already been beneficial in this area. Those green grasses provide a great contrast with the mist and hills beyond. I hope that your gear just got washed, not damaged.
Thank you, Mike.
This is the season of green around here--a very short green time it is.
And I was glad I got the misty rainfall and low clouds--just the luck of being there at the right time.
But I did lose a lens! This shot was one of the last ones I got with it. It is not working today, but I'm not sure if the water did it or something else. It won't zoom and focus right.
Well, that will teach me to stop relying so heavily on a lens that is convenient but less that top quality.

Yes, those trees really stood out when I saw them.
Those, and the interesting difference between fore and back grounds.
Thanks for your note on them!
