Basics
Lens: Da300 Camera: K1m2 Photo Location: Lake of the Ozarks, MO

Just some little ones from today. I don't have a lot of experience shooting these little guys, still need practice. Close distance with telephotos, definitely presents a Dof challenge for me. I can back up, but even with 4-500mm, well... birds are just so small.

Stunning close-ups! That is one of the best Golden-crowned Kinglet photos I have ever seen. You usually do not get a chance to show the orange inside the yellow on the crown of the male. - Jack

Very nice shots of the small birds. It's difficult to get shots like these of birds that are constantly moving around. You obtained good details and very natural colors. Well done.

All are good, but I really like that second one. The small birds are a lot harder to catch, they move so fast.
