Aeronautical layout with modular switches, and rack-able instruments, along with a beautifully laid out fuse panel, hidden behind the huge glove box door. I have never seen a better cockpit on a car.

The Saab 9000 held the world long distance record for 100,000 km run on the Talladega race course. The car was straight off the assembly line and record was FAI certified. (Google "The Long Run ") Ran three weeks day and night rain and sun. Including service and stops, the average speed over that distance was 213 kph.

I miss my Saab 9000.

How I have so very often wished my Toyota had a serviceable layout like this one!
Capability of managing the controls without taking eyes off the road.
