The Australian Brushturkey is common enough around most semi-bush areas you almost have to take steps to avoid tripping over them. But until this moment, I had never come across a chic. But there it was, dodging from one side of the walking path to the other, rarely staying still for more than half a second, and persisting in disappearing into the undergrowth and mildly dense bush, and mostly keeping its back to me. So it required a little persistence in following the little blighter around before I managed a couple of half-way decent shots. Again, for the most part a very overcast day
