Thanks Jimbo, Georg, Jeff and Gary. The trip was a birthday present from my husband but I think the camera gave me the best present.

No crop, no PP. The birds were right over my head with the sun at my back. Most were taken at 135mm.

Nice shots. The 80-200 was always my favorite lens. Try this next time, select an aperture that gives you about 1/15 of sec shutter speed and start shooting some of the gulls. You will get motion blur and some fantastic effects.

JMR, if my husband ever lets me take photos of gulls again, I'll try your idea. I can see where it may produce some neat effects.
