Crow Try to Cadge from a Kookaburra

Hard to tell, but I suspect the Kookaburra's "catch" was a dropped sausage from a barbecue, and not live prey. Nonetheless, it was still bashing its' "catch" on the branch to "kill" it when I first came upon this scene!

Great detailed shot. No matter the circumstance of obtaining the meal, the bird follows its own routine. Nice natural colors. The crow is waiting for a mis-step.
