common reed flower

I also find this to be interesting. Looking at it, I wouldn't think of it as a flower. However, it is an effective way to spread seed.

Terrific image Loris. The reed is very adapted to propagation with its silky hairs that can be carried by the wind.

An outstanding image--one of the kind that I really like to take!
Curved and full--a sort of exotic image.
We have similar plants along the cliffs and hills of our west coast--much to the chagrin of some of the pasture-land owners!
Very fine detail you have captured throughout the "exotic" curve in this image!
