Attracted to Juniper Berries
Lens: DA*60-250 and DA*300 w/1.4x Teleconverter Camera: K-3II Photo Location: Neighborhood

The Cedar Waxwings and Robins are having a feast these days on Juniper berries. The waxwings are very skittish and pretty difficult to photograph, but the robins have no problem with me hanging around photographing them.

Nice shots, Todd. Those Cedar Waxwings are pretty birds and Robins are always interesting to watch. It's good to see them. A sure sign that spring is near.

Those cedar waxwings are really beautiful thieves!
Not that feasting on the zillions of juniper berries you folks have there is any kind of thievery!
But when they come up here and steal blueberries...!!!!
Great shots of those birds carrying out their livelihoods.
And catching the cedar waxwings in your camera is better than I was able to do with the little shotgun that was used on the blueberry farm! (Sorry! But that too is life, i guess!)
