Grappling with Green
Camera: iPhone XS Photo Location: Driveway

The look of Isle of Man Green, the color of my Bimmer, is one of those metallic hues that can appear to change depending upon lighting conditions. I grabbed this snapshot yesterday of the freshly-waxed M3 in our driveway. I played around for a few moments during PP to nail down the color, but my patience gave out - as it often does. This pic, which records no color correctly, is not quite psychedelic, but it gives our boring neighborhood a surreal look.

Not psychedelic, Jer. A high contrast shot enriching colors? Funny, one thing that I did notice was the tree limb reflections above the right grill. Kind of looks fractured? 🤔

Hey, Mike - I thought the same thing when I started to PP this pic. It gave me a bad moment, until I recognized the spindly limbs of our poor old elm tree. Demonstrates the high reflective resolution of the Chemical Guys' HyrdroSlick wax.

That is an amazing metallic green color. I use Chemical Guys products for my vehicles, but I don't have anything close to your trio to use them on.

Hey, Todd - it's called Isle of Man Green and is specific for the M3/M4 models. It certainly gets a lot of attention; the color is quite striking without being too "loud".

I've been a Mequiars customer for many years, but recently I've begun using Chemical Guys stuff - the shine and slickness are very impressive!

I think the car itself provides the surreal look for your neighborhood.
It makes all the surrounding trees turn "green" with envy!
Very intriguing shot!
Angky.
