Nature Juvenile Night Heron

We been blast with heavy rains / storm , even snow for a past week in south California . i went to the lake to shoot the birds in bad weather condition .
it was cold and rainy . for a minute sun rise from nowhere heron was a couple feet from me

right now we have beautiful weather , sunny whole day 65-70 F .

You made the right effort to get out there in the bad weather.
But that is what makes the shots so good.
