Wow, they are all very nice shots, Peter.

The colour in the first one and the air in the last shot are very good.

Super series Peter! Beautiful colours together with reflections (#1), b&w simplicity (#2) and sometimes even industrial targets look nice. The structures of smoke with lights creates nice effect.

I love a good industrial theme, and the third picture fits the bill perfectly. Very nice series, but my favourite is definitely the last one.

Great idea Peter, I should do more night shooting!

I like them all but the last one is striking. I find it curious how the smoke or steam is moving in different directions at the same time. The wind must have been swirling around a bit. Anyways, I like it!

The first one is interesting too as all the lights on the buildings appear to be white or off-white, but the reflected colours show differently. The blue reflected light really stands out.

Thanks for sharing.

Hey, Peter. Numbers 2 and 3 are terrific. I also applaud your stamina that allows taking the time to do these well even when you lack a balmy atmosphere.

Thanks Jim. The colour version was just blah but I liked the higher contrast B&W version as well. Thanks for the comments.

The air was great that evening James. It's the reason I shot these over 2 nights. The first night there was no wind and the refinery didn't look as interesting. Thanks for commenting.

Thanks Kurt. The steam was neat since it swirls in almost every direction.

Yes I need to do more of this as well. With the port, there's many interesting opportunities here. Thanks.

Thanks Jeff, The stacks create some sort of wind tunnel effect with the changing directions. The 5 second shutter speed and cold air really makes the steam stand out. I was surprised at how the water showed so much colour as well. But with night shots I find there's not much you can do in PP and that's how they look out of the camera. Thanks for commenting.
