I chased this blinkety-blankety *&^*( thing for 20 minutes back and forth along a short section of walking track, but it is notorious for never alighting for more than a split second. I was always a half-second behind it getting the lens on it, and trying to still the camera/lens before pressing the shutter - not easy to do in a split second witht the monster (Pentax D FA HD 150-450mm F4.5-5.6 ED DC AW)!!

Effort leads to rewards. Chasing butterflies can be daunting. Great shot. I saw that you updated your weird caterpillar post, identifying it as a Blue Triangle Butterfly caterpillar.
