Natural light
Posted By: JMR, 12-30-2008, 10:09 AM

Took this shot on high grain film under natural window light, my favorite. I was so enthralled with the beautiful light that it wasn't until I started working on the image to post it that I finally noticed one eye was soft. But since it is family image, I love it anyway. Light sometimes can blind.

Oh wow! What a beautiful image JMR. You are right about the light, just perfect, and you caught it spot on. I love the color and grain in this image too.

Beautiful baby too!

Beautiful, I also like the graininess - it somehow suites well to this photo!

Looks a little post modern but really like your way of pushing your photography towards muted colour.

Thanks Roentarre and everyone else that commented, much appreciated. I chose your quote because I agree that I like restrained colours and more subtle images, so you may not recognize my newer experiment. But hey, if you can't enjoy your photography, it's time to do something else ;-)
