Pentax 45mm f4
Lens: SMC 6x7 45/4 Camera: Pentax 67 Photo Location: Various ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F16

Shooting the Pentax 6x7 45mm is like shooting a 24mm in small format in terms of FOV but not in DOF for matching aperture of course. Pentax made a wider 35mm focal length for the 6x7 system but it is a fisheye lens. So the 45mm is the widest rectilinear option you get.

Some 45mm shots.

Great black and white images. Really clear and sharp. Reminds me of different times.

Thanks again. I think when I take pictures of old things like cars, buildings, etc on film, it gives the image a more old-time feel than when I do it on digital.

Wish I could afford to run film through my 6x7!
But what I really wish is that I had a darkroom to do the B&W.
Your pictures really make me want to break out the camera and do some shooting with it.
Love that Bandon shot.

Thanks. For sure film is getting expensive. You don't need a darkroom for a figital workflow (develop and scan).

Thanks again. These are all grey scales. When you scan for maximum tonal scale and dynamic range, you usually have to adjust the contrast curve yourself in lieu of pressing the auto adjust button in the scanning software. Cleaning dust spots is another thing that is an additional effort. And by digital editing standards (focus stacking, exposure blending, etc) just adjusting the contrast curve is really hardly any processing at all, IMHO.

Have you ever heard of a Dutch Tilt? You have posted that picture more times than I can count. And why are you posting that here? I'd be thankful if you would delete it.
