Cedar Waxwing arive

Great imaging. Yellow Waxwings are one of my favorites and I enjoy viewing good shots of them. It looks like they are having a feast.

Thank you for your nice comment.I left the area when it stared to rain .When I returned the next day hoping to take pictures in better light they were gone.

The very smooth gradation in color toning is impressive in these birds.
But they certainly can decimate a crop of fruit--as is being done here.
Good pictures of them doing their work!

What a nice series of a really handsome bird. I don't recall ever seeing a bird like this before.

Nice work rhanz. A few of these stop by every year when our Mulberry tree starts to set fruit. Haven't got a decent shot of one yet.

Hah! I had no idea they eat loquats (the fruit in these images), I'll have to be on the lookout for them, although this year's crop is poor. Usually it's the parrots who decimate my loquats.

These are beautiful birds, well-captured!
