Crowd visiting Meteor Crater in Northern Arizona. Very interesting site with a Visitor Center, exhibits, a restaurant, a gift shop, etc. They offer guided tours with a docent explaining the existence of asteroids in our Solar System and their effect on our Planet. Pentax K1 + DFA 28-105 mm HD @ f/11, upper image at 88 mm FL, lower one at 28 mm FL.

Meteor Crater was a sight I wanted to see for many years. I'm glad I went in 2019 as I may never be able to drive back to the American Southwest.

This site is really worth a stop. They have a space capsule, terrific exhibits, even a piece of a meteorite. Several viewpoints have been built to have an encompassing view of the crater. You find a campground nearby, a gas station and I-40 is just North of the site. A "must-see" particularity in the high desert.
