A great family shot, Dave. Certainly portrays a family Christmas.
One thing puzzles me (as I sit here on a day of 40++degC),? With all the snow shots around at the moment, I would have thought that heater on the right of picture would have been blazing. Or is my mental picture of Canada, not quite accurate
Looks like somebody enjoying a good bottle of red in bottom left hand corner. I second that!!!!
Thanks Bruce - the fireplace was going pretty steady I think it just went out for a while - yes indeed there was Baileys , Beer , Wine, Rum, Vodka and a whole slew of other Beverages. The weather was not that bad -15C or so - very tolerable for a Canadian xmas out west here. Thanks for the weather update eh !

Love the fisheye, Dave. A great family, fun and happy capture. I'm sure everyone in the photo would appreciate an email with this photo attached. Thanks for sharing part of your Christmas with us.
Thanks Dazman - between my nephew (Cannon DSLR) and I and all the PS that everyone had it was very well documented - I always offer the shots to those that ask.

haha yeah I hear that - the fisheye was probably the 3rd or 4th lens I bought (well it was actually a birthday gift with strong hints from me ) and I'll bet it would be one of the last ones I part with. I think you either love it or hate it, count me as the former for sure.

Hey, Dave - looks like the food was good and the beer was cold. Wish I'd been there and we coulda swapped lies all night long.

Happy New Year, my friend.

Great shot of the entire clan. I now understand how Canadians keep your homes from blowing down in high winds - round walls

Thanks Jer Happy New Years to you and yours as well. The turkey this year was the best I have ever had for sure - the beer was frosty indeed (two beer fridges aside from the natural one outside) - and I would enjoy a envening of swapping tall tales - one day.

Thanks cupic - indeed I wish it was my cabin but fortunate enough to be invited. Since Ray (brother in law) built that Cabin we kinda voted instead of a rotating the hosting of Christmas we all figured what's the point??? hahaha he graciously accepted.
