It is an interesting face in the street. One of a person who looks to go his own way and do his own thing. A good, revealing image as well as the nickname "Storm Crow".

Great shot, KD. There are a lot of life's experience recorded on that face.

He is a Scottish legend and is the wildcat and founder of the group Clanadonia, a Highland Tribal Drums & Pipes group from Glasgow.

He was also part of the close combat stunt crew for the Ridley Scott film Gladiator, the Terrence Malik film The New World and Lee Hutcheon film The Clan.

Basically he's an all-round good guy.

2010 capture, according to the EXIF, and on the K10D with a 135mm. Some photos are ageless, as this one, but it’s thirteen years ago, so is your subject still extant, hale and hearty?

A fascinating perspective on a man and a culture.
Great imaging!

And a rhetorical question: Why did we "upgrade" from the K10D?!
Angky.

What an outstanding photo. This should be a reference for street portraiture.

Aye he’s still on the go and still being the wild Highlander, even though he’s actually a Lowlander.

I like to revisit older images from time to time, just to see what both me and the latest PP software can do to image. A trend I see in my work… is for a more natural softer feel to the finished image.

For the example this image got washed through both Unify & Colour Panel.

Thank you and I’m gonna answer that anyway… that CCD sensor in the K10D was IMHO, something a bit special in the way it rendered colours.
