Bumblebees also work Down Under
Lens: Sigma 170-500 DG Camera: Pentax K-5IIs Photo Location: Hendrix Nature Preserve ISO: 250 Shutter Speed: 1/350s Aperture: F8

The flowers. Took a quick stop at the Nature Preserve and found that Bumblebees were the most active critters around. A few shots of them at work.

Thank you very much. I appreciate the nice comments. The light was good yesterday afternoon and that helped a lot in getting good captures.

Thank you so much. I borrowed your down under phrase as these bumblebees were all down under the flowers.😊 Really good lighting helped and I did try a lens adjustment a few months ago.

Those look like the bushes we call California redbuds around here! They are blooming prolifically right now along the creeks in the lower elevations.
Great shots of them--and the bumblebee helped greatly in making that image.

Thank you Angky. We call them redbuds here, also, and they are in bloom across the State. There colors added a lot to the bumblebee photos.
