Very pretty subject, but no idea what it is. :(

With vibrant blues like that, you need to find out what it is. Nice shot with very good colors.

It seems like I should know what it is, but I don't!
If you find out, let me know; I've shot some of these flowers too, but not as bright and clear as your image against the dark background.

Again, many, many thanks for the assist. Someone has suggested that it may be a Violet or a version of a Common Dog Violet. Some of which are very fragrant and some

You're welcome. My crystal ball said Jacob's Ladder, more than 90% likely, so I'll go with that. Not an expert on violets, but it doesn't look like a violet to me. Whatever, the image is stunning!
