One of my best images of all times and a situation that might have ended in total disaster with lesser photo equipment.

The best time to explore Grand Canyon is at the beginning and at the end of a clear day. This was SUNSET time at Lipan viewpoint on the South Rim.

My FA 35 mm f/2 AL lens is a miracle of an optic, totally resistant to flaring and ghosting. I was shooting against the light, still capturing detail in the dark foreground with my K3.
The simple 5 element construction of this lens as well as marvelous Pentax coatings gave a picture with immense exposure range and without any artefact to degrade the composition.

I can't speak to the lens features since I'm not an expert there.
But I do definitely like that shot.
It's the sort of shot that I like to try myself a lot of times, though I don't always pull them off.
