On our trip to Kansas City, we stayed at the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center on the 33rd floor. We had a view of the downtown so I took some shots at various times from the hotel. Here are some views. Hope you like them.

Great series of shots! Certainly a great mix of architectural styles in this city.

Very good series of cityscapes! The shots really came out well, showing the details and colors of the buildings and architecture.

Thank you very much. I noticed that myself. I liked the variety.

Thank you, Todd. A few of the wider shots were with the Sigma 17-50. The rest were with the Pentax 55-300 PLM. Both lens seemed to do a good job. You always have to watch for reflections shooting through hotel windows. We were fortunate to a have a high view.

Magnificent series of Kansas City pictures!

When I drove across Kansas City on Interstate-70 a couple of times, I remember the road being very crooked, wandering incessantly left and right, and driving very close to the Kansas City Chiefs football Stadium on the south side of the Interstate.
Then there was this gentleman repairing and refurbishing Minolta X-700 camera bodies in Kansas City, Kansas, just west of the Stateline. I bought a couple of my X-700s from him.

Regards

Thanks much for your nice comments, Richard. I've been to Kansas City before, but did not stay in the downtown area. Being high up in the hotel gave me a great opportunity to get nice views and images of the cityscape.
