A Very Narrow Passage
Lens: HD DA16-85mm Camera: K-3II Photo Location: Milford Sound, NZ ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/1000s Aperture: F8

Three years after my trip to NZ, I still find myself going through and re-processing images. I guess it could be because I haven't gone anywhere since other than moving to Texas and getting caught up in a nightmare house construction project. Visiting Milford Sound was an unforgettable experience.

I keep telling myself that we should visit New Zealand, ever since the Lord of the Rings movies. You have captured the magic and mystery of the country in this shot. Thanks for sharing this wonderful image.

Go, Todd! Great Pic!. I did a similar trip in Feb 2019, with a 2nd hand K50 bought just for the trip. Represented my return to photography for the first time in 37 years! Also my first digital camera - had no idea what I was doing, half the time.
But you have now got me going back over my NZ pics, with a better (slightly) understanding of the software processing, and a better software package (DxO Photolabs 5). So thanks for that.
Hope the building nightmare is resolved, mate.

Thanks Peter! I didn't realize that you had been out of photography for so long. You certainly had a fast learning curve, your images are top notch. We are finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel with our house project and hopefully we are finished and moved in by the end of the summer. We had to fix a big structural concrete problem that our builder left for us. We fired him and took over getting it fixed ourselves.

Very interesting B/W, the various layers or clouds make it a really unique photo.

Beautiful photograph. Quite an exceptional photograph. B+W is the perfect choice.

Frame and hang, would be my advice.

Remarkable B&W, Todd. I missed this when first posted, so I'm glad it came up again!
