Very nice indeed, is this bouganvillea by any chance?

Really good colors in this image and nice composition. That K-5 still delivers. Don't know how you got those Lantanas to line up.😊

Thanks Mike! I still like shooting with my K-5, it actually has a very low shutter count. I must have been nice to them to get them to cooperate.

Thanks Tony! They are great looking plants. Mine is a slow starter, but gets rolling in the late spring and summer.

You're welcome, Todd, credit where it's due, always!

I think we've had this discussion before, it always amuses me to see these pretty cultivated lantanas, the plants are weeds here! Not nearly as attractive.

I recall our discussion. They grow wild around here as well, but this one is a garden plant that the previous owner planted. Most of the houses in my neighborhood have them because the deer don't eat them, and there is not much they won't eat. They browse through our neighborhood every night. They love my dahlia blooms.

Indeed...no deer in this suburban Miami neighborhood. We have other critters that eat garden plants, though. Iguanas are the worst. I have no idea if they eat lantana

Now this is known as a "weed"!
However, according to one informant, a weed is something that is where it should not be wanted.
Around here, it is a cultivated plant--and it won't bloom for me yet!
Very excellent picture of your beautiful un-weeded florals!
Really good shot--hard to get them all in focus, I've found.

Thank you for your thoughtful and appreciative comment Angky! These guys are slow to bloom around here as well. This one was from last year. My plant froze and it had to start over from the ground. It is only about 6" tall right now.
