Bed of Purple
Lens: DA 20-40mm Ltd Camera: K-70 Photo Location: Neighbor's Garden-Sac. ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/90s Aperture: F5.6

Seemed like the specific details of the individual flowers were over-awed by the 5th dimension of purple that took over this scene.

The way they stand out in the greenery makes them seem to glow. Very distinct. Lovely colors throughout the image and nice detail. A very pretty pattern.

The vibrant colors really stand out in the lower light. I really like how you kept so many of them in the frame which shows how nicely they contrast with the green foliage.

Tony
I appreciate your detailed assessment of the use of light and colors.
You make it a bit more understandable than merely my notion of a lot of purple!
Thanks!

Yes, that contrast was sort of the interesting thing to me.
Thanks for appreciation of it!

Thank you, Todd!
Seemed important to put the whole bed of them into one image--somehow they just "spoke together" so well
