Nature Crested Caracara

A Caracara bird with some tail feather damage on a fence post while traveling along a dirt road.

Outstanding shots Rhanz! I have been attempting to get close enough to a Caracara for a photo here in Texas for quite a while with no luck. They are amazing birds, and you got some very good images of this one. It sure has some chewed up tail feathers though.

Nice shots of the Caracara. I'm not familiar with the bird, but the closeups display it's detail and colors beautifully.
