Cormorants at Lynx Lake
Lens: Pentax D FA 150-450mm Camera: K-3 III Photo Location: Lynx Lake, AZ

Went kayaking on Lynx Lake. The cormorants were out in force and the morning sun really made their feathers stand out.

I've shot cormorants before but haven't managed to get close like you do. Great detail in all the shots. I like the first shot pose and third shot in flight, best. Good shooting.

As has been noted, those feather details are really in focus on your images here.
It must be a hard life being a cormorant--needing to dry out every time they get water on them.
