Thanks very much for your description. I see what you are saying and looking at it again, the leaves in the front are not that much of a distraction. The problem is I was/am
looking for problems regarding focusing. I disabled anything to do with Auto-Focus in the k-7 and now working solely with Manual Focus, on a tripod with a two second self-timer.
Will see what the future holds.
